Program Outline
M. Sc. Chemistry is an Postgraduate special chemistry Degree course that comprise of basic to applied chemistry including Principles of Organic chemistry to Reagents in Organic Synthesis, Introduction to Spectroscopy to Applications of Spectroscopic techniques, Organic Reaction Mechanisms to Retro synthesis approach, Other chemistry aspects and Lab Course: Industrial training/Research project (Skill Based) so that students can get wide spectrum of subject knowledge. This Program is mainly focused on skill enhancement in the core chemistry with practical expert hands which will make students employable and steeping towards entrepreneurship developments. A person who is a Master of Science in Chemistry acquires professional as well as scientific level competency. It offers scientific and professional entry-level competency along with advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in the specialized fields

Eligibility
(a) Maharashtra State Candidate:
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National and having domicile of Maharashtra state and / or born in Maharashtra state.
(ii) B.Sc.( Hons.) Chemistry, B. Sc. with one of the subject is Chemistry or its equivalent examination and the candidate should have appeared in MGMU - CET 2026 should obtain non zero score in MGMU - CET 2026.
OR
(b) All India Candidates:
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National.
(ii) B.Sc.( Hons.) Chemistry, B. Sc. with one of the subject is Chemistry or its equivalent examination and the candidate should have appeared in MGMU - CET 2026 should obtain non zero score in MGMU - CET 2026.
