Dhrupadāṅgī is an important aspect of Indian Shastriya (classical) dance that is focused on the revival of a lost tradition of Dhrupad Music and Dance. Dhrupadāngī represents the re-construction or re-establishment process of analytic, artistic and aesthetic ‘prayoga’ (application) of the oldest living music form Dhrupad in melody, dance and drama. This Certificate course on Dhrupadāṅgī approach will be a value addition to the dancers and musicians and also to serious learners of ancient and medieval art forms of India. The course will be conducted on weekends in hybrid mode.
