MGM University’s B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence)  with Advanced and Modern AI is a pioneering undergraduate program designed to shape future-ready AI professionals equipped for a global, interdisciplinary workforce. Developed in strategic partnership with IBM, this program integrates core IT education with cutting-edge artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning frameworks, reflecting the transformative shifts of Industry 4.0 and beyond.

The program is delivered through an outcome-based education model supported by a flexible Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS). Students engage in a balanced academic journey, mastering both foundational IT skills and specialized AI applications. Core focus areas include  AI and ML Essentials, Machine Learning Engineering, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Generative AI, Applied Large Language Model Development & Deployment and Explainable AI ensuring a comprehensive and practical understanding of modern AI tools and technologies.

A unique strength of this program is its strong industry orientation, driven by IBM’s global expertise. Students gain hands-on experience using IBM’s AI platforms and tools, such as IBM Watson, IBM Cloud Pak for Data, and OpenScale. They also undertake real-world AI projects, participate in capstone projects under expert mentorship, and receive industry-recognized certifications and digital badges directly from IBM—significantly boosting their employability and readiness for AI-focused careers.

The curriculum further includes modules on AI modeling and deployment, ethical AI governance, human-centered AI design, AI for IoT systems, blockchain integration, and cybersecurity in AI systems. This integrated approach ensures students graduate with a solid grounding in responsible, high-impact AI development, suited for a wide variety of sectors and applications.

Eligibility

1. Maharashtra State Candidate.

  • The Candidate should be an Indian National and have domicile in Maharashtra state and/or born in Maharashtra state.
  • Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronic Science / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical vocational subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and the candidate should have appeared in MGMU - CET 2026/ MHT-CET 2026/PERA CET 2026and should obtain non zero score in MGMU - CET 2026/ MHT-CET 2026/PERA CET 2026. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining a non-zero positive score in MGMU - CET 2026over the candidates who obtained a non-zero score in MHT-CET 2026/ PERA-CET 2026.
  • Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).

2. All India Candidates

  • The Candidate should be an Indian
  • Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronic Science / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical vocational subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and candidate should have appeared in MGMU - CET 2026/ JEE Mains Paper-I/ MHT-CET 2026/ PERA-CET 2026 and should obtain non-zero score in MGMU - CET 2026/ JEE Mains Paper-I/ MHT-CET 2026/ PERA-CET 2026. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining a non-zero positive score in JEE Mains Paper-I over the candidates who obtained a non-zero score in MGMU - CET 2026/ MHT-CET 2026/ PERA-CET 2026.

3. NRI* Candidate
