Program Outline
Billions of smart devices measuring, moving and acting upon all the bits of data have become an integral part of our world today. These innumerable devices are all set to be connected with each other with a technology called – Internet of Things (IoT). These IoT enabled devices and computer systems will be so inevitable in the near future that we won’t be able to image living without them, just as we cannot do without our smart phones today. From entertainment, banking and education to governance, shopping, healthcare, businesses and research everything will be interconnected. In such a situation, protecting our privacy and property will be increasingly challenging and our only shield will be cyber security measures. Along with various other technologies, the latest addition to Cyber security is Blockchain technology, which records information that is difficult to change, hack or cheat. In this program students will learn number of such advanced technologies which will be ruling the world in the near future, thus opening the doors of innumerable career opportunities for them.
