Program Outline
Bachelor of Science (Honours/ Honours with research) program in Mathematics provides a rigorous and comprehensive education in various areas of mathematics, preparing students for careers in academia, research and industry.
The duration of the Bachelor of Science (Honours/ Honours with research) program is Three/Four years (NEP-2020) and the syllabus for the course is divided into six/eight semesters. B.Sc.(Hons.) Mathematics program provides in-depth knowledge about geometry, trigonometry, Calculus, Real & Complex analysis, Algebra, Differential Equations and various other theories in Mathematics. Alongside as a part of multidisciplinary approach we covered it with Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC) specifically English communication, Environmental science and Vocational and Skill Enhancement Courses (VSEC) which are Introduction to Python Programming, Programming with MATLAB/Scilab, Introduction to R Programming, Introduction to Latex and Fundamentals of Computer.
